Das Hoegaerdse 5°-1/4L Ref: BB20213 Hougaerdse Das dates from 1931 and has recently been rediscovered by the brewers of Hoegaarden. Das creates a new beer segment - an unfiltered, light amber barley beer, easily drinkable, full of character and appealing to beer afficionados who like to experiment. It has an alcohol content of 5% vol and should be served at 2 to 3° C. Hougaerdse DAS is a coppery colored dark blond Beer with a small head.

De Cam Oude Gueuze 6,5° - 37,5Cl Ref: BB30068R Looks like a bitter..but don't be misled! Ring of head, golden body. Aroma is grassy, musty yet fresher than average. Wow! You put it in your mouth and you KNOW as it sits there that once you swallow it it will hit you with sourness. Dry. Doesn't have the raw ediges of some, except for the sourness, but it is a beautiful synthesis of what a lambic can be. Refreshing. Good carbonation in the body. Related products: 1. De Cam Kriek 5° - 37,5cl Ref: BB30012R The cork went off with a bang, and the initial head is huge, almost uncontrollable. It died down quickly. Red colour. Complex citrus and cherry nose with some mustiness. Great fruity flavours, the perfect marriage between the citrussy lambic and cherry. Almond and wood in the finish.Very fizzy. It must be one of the best krieks around.

De Koninck Blond 6° - 1/3L Ref: BB28116D Very clear light gold in colour. Aromas are sweet grain with hints of banana. Flavours are mild fruity malts with some yeast mustiness. De Leite Bon Homme 6,5° - 1/3L Ref: BB40227Z Pours dark brown bit of a murky muddy appearance with a light beige head. The aroma is subtle but there is some sweetness and a little sourness on the edge. Taste is sweet and yet there is a nice citric touch, some tangerine perhaps, yeastiness and maltiness complete the picture Related products: 1. De Leite Glass

DK Gusto 1833 Golden Blond 8° - 3/4L   Ref: BB30108O Large bubbly off-white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Aroma of yeast, fruit, dusty grain, citrus. Over the palate came dusty floral, yeast, fruit, caramel, mild spice. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Delirium Tremens 9°-1/3L Ref: BB20419 This perfect blonde accentuates qualities of an exceptional hop as well as various pale malts. She offers acute points of bitterness, and reveals with the nose an astonishing malted coat. It finishes on a bitter tone peppered without any key of aggressiveness. It represents strong lager under its best appearance. It was crowned champion of the beer world in 1998. This beer comes in a stone coloured bottled and served in a glass covered in pink elephants! Delirium Nocturnum 8.5°- 33Cl Ref: BB22041 A somewhat comlex beer. It produces a tremendous head that requires either slow pouring a big glass. More malty than Tremens with some chocolate notes and risidual sweetness. Very good. Spicy sweet aroma, like a liqueur. Dark, dark amber color. Very strong alcohol flavor, especially in the finish and aftertaste. There is also a spicy fruity-ness. It's quite good -- and quite strong. Very interesting. Related products: 1. Delirium Glass 2. Delirium Christmas 10° - 1/3L Ref: BB28254Z Pours a dark amber color with a small, lingering tan head. Strong, bready aroma of malt, yeast, and spice with a touch of alcohol in the background. Full bodied with low carbonation, the flavor is very malty sweet with some spiciness and yeast tones. The finish is lingering and sweet. De Ranke Kriek 7°-3/4L Ref: BB28155Z Reddish brown brew with a light pink head. Cherries that have been sitting in a musty barn on a rainy day with the horses. Very nice balance between the sweet of the cherries and the sourness of the beer.

De Ranke Pere Noel 7° - 1/3L Ref: BB28322H A fantastic Christmas beer, but one that defies the universal custom of a stronger, spicier beer for the holiday season. At 7% alcohol by volume, this one is relatively lighter in alcohol than the Guldenberg, and does not pack the hop punch of the XX. It combines some of the best elements of those other two beers – with a fine balance of malt and hops, complex character, a refreshing dryness, and a gorgeous cellar aroma – but is distinguished by its festive copper color. De Ranke Noir De Dottignies 9° - 1/3L Ref: BB40263Z The heaviest ale on our menu with a very rich taste, coming from the six different kinds of malt we use. These malts also give it that rich, dark, nearly black colour. The royal doses of Challenger and Saaz hops bring the typical balance between sweet and bitter.

Second, DeuS is refined in France using an ancestral technique, including the "ridding" and "yeast removal". The result is an exceptional drink ! Dikke Mathile 6° - 1/4L Ref: BB30020R Origin: This 15-year-old amber coloured high fermentation beer has collected a nice piece of history. Originally brewed by order of a couple of Ostend beer lovers; it had to become a typical Ostend beer and therefore, Redgy Van Troost, a famous Ostend artist, was contacted for the label design. He created an atmospheric image of Ostend showing the casino building and the statue “The see” of sculptor Graer. And so, the beer name was discovered: 'Dikke Mathile' is the popular name of this statue. Owing to certain circumstances, we have changed, at request of the relatives of Graer, the label into a sculpture of the grandson of C. Permeke. Ingredients: Munich malt and amber malt, hop, water. Characteristics:  6% alcohol, serve fresh Amber coloured through the use of Munich malt and amber malt. Hopped till 32 EBU with 50% hop of Poperinge and 50% German Hallertau flavour hop. The main fermentation at 22° Celsius is finished after circa five days.  Storage in bright beer tanks at -2° Celsius during 6 weeks .

Divine 8.5°-1/3L Ref: BB20482 The bottle after its debarkation from the 330ml brown bottle sets in the glass a translucent copper color with a behemothic light tan and creamy head and after its demise the lace forms a thin satin sheet to lie upon the glass. Nose is tart but yet fruity sweet, citrus like in its crispness, fresh and appealing to both the ocular and olfactory senses, start is sweet with a pleasing malt profile, the top is light to middling in its feel to the palate. Finnish is striking in its acidity, the hops joyful in their spicy presence, desert dry almost vinous aftertaste that lingers long on the palate.

Drie Fonteinen Oude Kriek 5° - 37,5cl Ref: BB28196P Pours a cloudy, ruddy red-orange with a touch of pink. Fluffy, light pink-tan head, good size with excellent retention. Lacing is sort of lumpy but pretty good still. Aroma is wonderfully strong and tart, layers of cherry with mostly an acidic, somewhat bretty, funky and bilious bite. Pretty kick-ass. Flavor has some sharp brett and bile. Imagine gastric reflux with cherry added. Body is medium-full with a slightly chunky feel, unfiltered. Outstanding long finish, amazingly dry and delicious. Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueuze 6° - 3/4L Ref: BB28195P Bottled in 02/22/03. Great aroma. Winey/fruity (some grapes/citrus), oaky, dust. Cloudy, orange/yellow coloured with a huge, lastig, off-white head. Great looking gueuze. Taste is quite sweet. Perhaps a little too sweet. Oaky, fruity. Moderate tart for a gueuze. well balanced. Dry. Perhaps lacking some complexness. Still quite decent brew. Druïde Bruin 6,5° - 1/3L Ref: BB30118Z Clear (hazy with yeast), dark ruby brown with a medium, tanned and creamy-lacy head. Aroma of brown sugar and sweet malts, some ashiness. Some more complexity and even light port-winousness when warmer. Lightly ashy and sweet, roasted-malty flavor with tiny licorice hints and some dry bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied, perhaps a bit thin palate (for the style) with foamy carbonation. A reasonably pleasant dubbel, but lacks the final push towards being a classic. Related products: 1. Druïde Glass 2. Ducassis 5.7° - 1/3L Ref: BB28104Z Natural beer with blackeurrant berries refermented in the bottle. Pure malt and hop, blackeurrant berries, yeast, water. From brewery "Brasserie des Geants"

Duchesse de Bourgogne 6.2°-1/4L Ref: BB20424 Despite its name, there are no comparison with any wine from that region, or indeed any wine whatoever. Brewed along the most traditional lines, it belongs to the family of great Flemish brown beers, and has that same bitter-sweet taste. Yet, it is more dense than other beers in the same category. Despite a fairly acid taste, it leaves however a sweet taste at the back of the throat Deep, dark, ruby red. Nice lasting foam. Smell and first taste is bitter, but then the aftertaste is almost fruity. Very filling, excellent with a heavy meal of game, like duck or pheasant. Altogether a very nice experience. Duivels 6°-1/4L Ref: BB20462 Very much in the tradition of old Flemish brown beers, its first taste however is less aggressive. Despite its Lambic base, it is sweet and well-rounded, and very pleasant. That explains how it is drunk readily and without its taste becoming wearisome. Poured a dark, almost ruby, type of brew with a nice bubbly head with good retention. Aroma of malt and spice is quite interesting with some floral aspect to it. Carbonation is good with just above average body. Mix of spice is quite interesting and most resemble Duvel, or a darker Duvel. Never tasted the original beer that was brewed before Boon took over but I still like this one. Many Thanks for my friend traveling in Belgian for bringing this back. Also, beautiful bottle that seems like it was used 100 years ago for the first time.

Dulle Teve 10°c - 33cl Ref: BB28056Z Monster head even after sitting for a while.Apicot color really murky streaming fillzles dancing up thru’ the haze.Insane fragrance of exotic fruits and yeast.Then maybe it comes on to a spiced tea aroma that makes it hard to stop sniffing.Will it taste this good??Almost,it is so carbonated that ,IMHO, it takes away from some of the flavor.Lots of teast but that spiced fruit flavor does poke it’s head out as does the alcohol.less carbonation would have made this more enjoyable. Good triple, typical beer of the 'Dolle Brouwers'. Bitter in the beginning, sweeter later on.

Dupont Bière de Miel 8° -1/4L Ref: BB28122 Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing. A biggish, cream-white, fine, foamy head collapses unevenly. The beer is mostly clear and orangey-gold. Nose is spicy, dusty, medicinal. It smells like those wax lips or wax harmonicas you used to eat. Some nice pepper and floral notes in the front, but bandaids and rubbing alcohol, too. Turns sweet and waxy. There's some sugar, too. But it's a little thin. A tangy, citrus finish is marred by an alcoholy sourness.

Duivels Bier Donker 8°-1/3L Ref: BB30028R An unclear dark brown beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of prunes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and prunes.

Duvel 8.5°-1/3L Ref: BB20426 Pours bright, hazy, very light colored yellow with a huge, rocky, thick white head. Yeasty aroma with hints of fruit (apples, pear, grape), citrus, a little bit of grain, and spice. I love the taste of this beer. It’s sweet, but in a very subtle way, fruity, yeasty, malty, and finishes spicy and dry with just a touch of alcohol. This beer has character without being excessive in any way. Always a good choice.
