Dark reddish brown with a medium, tanned and foamy head. Nice, malty aroma with strong anise and licorice, plus ginger hints. Sweetish, malty flavor with moderate hopping and anise. Hides the ABV excellently. Medium to full-bodied, slightly syrupy, low-carbonated palate. A very pleasant full and smooth brew.
