blond des Fagnes 8°-1/3L Ref: BB20842 This beer is very direct with no distinctive nose, as its aroma is so omnipresent that it leaves no room for surprises in the tastes to come. These are powerful and enhanced by the typical tastes characteristic of the Ardennes Hazy golden color, with a monumental head. Wonderful aroma: malt, hops, honey, coriander, fruits... Good malt, velvety, with a hint of sweet liquorice at the end, mature. A very good strong ale.

bruin des Fagnes 8°c - 33cl Ref: BB20839 Cloudy amber coloured beer with a huge light brown slowly disappearing head. The aroma is very malty with hints of an old dusty attic and some port wine. Like the Rousse it has a relatively light body with a bitter finish. Good beer.

La Hervoise 8° - 1/3L Ref: BB28032 Artisanal beer brewed by brewery Vervifontaine . The first Belgian beer brewed with syrup of apples and pears from Herve, the country of the syrup and cheese. Red-amber coloured beer with a medium light brown head. Caramel, berry and very light sour aroma. Fruity light sweet taste with a soft bitter aftertaste. Dark brown, purplish even; thick, brown, uneven head. Very nice winey-lactic acid (Brett?)- blackcurrant smell. Tart, fruity (fruit-drops retronasal) and roasted malt taste. Some toffee-flavour, but not sweet. Sourish tinge from C02. Fruit is black grape, blackcurrant, plum. Refreshing mouthfeel, quite well-bodied. Good carbonation, clear palate. Alcohol remains hidden. Rousse des Fagnes 8°-1/3L Ref: BB20841 Head is initially large, rocky, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium amber, dense tiny/small particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie, toasted light bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of peach, tangerine, and honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lightly alcoholic. Beautiful malty/fruity stuff, and the terrific flavor balance is provided mostly by bitterness rather than acidity,
