Bacchus 4.5°-1/4L
Ref: BB20138
A typical Flemish beer with a pleasant wine-like taste and a rich past. This dark brown beer, which is matured in oak casks, has a slightly acid aftertaste.
A well behaved example of a Flemish Red. There's some blood and guts in there, some acid dripping on raw meat chocolate, a raw turnip and sour cream cheese, but it doesn't have the wow of the Duchesse in all her naked glory.

Brigand 9°-1/3L
Ref: BB20176
Some malt sweetness in the nose, floral hops, orange or citrus oil, witbier esters. Very pleasant. Medium amber clear with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with very active, but not harsh, carbonation. Taste is very sweet to start, but light like a heavy alcohol tripel. Candy sugar, fruity esters, and light acidity. Finish is sweet - sticks to the tongue, but also some drying bitterness. After remains sweet for a while, light acidity, and mild bitterness. Can taste/feel the alcohol. A dessert beer.

Brigand 9°-3/4L
Ref: BB20168
A very strong and rich beer. A deep dark ale, with very malty aroma and a sweetish palate. Definitely an after dinner drink
This beer has the color of tarnished copper and very little head. What little head there was disappears almost immediately. The nose is quite stunning. Rich earth, musty peaches, lemony oak, anise and fresh apples. The palate is dry with baked apples, old oak, stale bread and musty lemons. The finish is dry and ends abruptly, but is strangely appetizing and refreshing.

A very strong and rich beer from the same brewery that produces Brigand. A deep dark ale, with very malty aroma and a sweetish palate. Definitely an after dinner drink!
Pours with a lovely cola colored brown with a mocha colored thick head and excellent lacing - going to have a tough time cleaning the glass tomorrow morning! Aroma has some sweet accents of baked brown bread, raisins and sugar. Flavor has many of the same notes with some cinamony-chocolate making a late appearance. Candy sugar flavor is prominent and makes this very enticing and hides the ABV of 11% oh so well. Good, thick mouthfeel, low carbonation - feels just right. All around an excellent Belgian.

A very strong and rich beer from the same brewery that produces Brigand. A deep dark ale, with very malty aroma and a sweetish palate. Definitely an after dinner drink!
Dark mahoghany coloured with a pretty head on top. Has a very sweet aroma. Some spices notabel. In the flavour there is almonds and sweetness. The alcahol is totally hidden. Lives a good life on the palate. Had this served with a starter (spiced duck and chutney), and this was a perfect match.

Kasteel Red 8° - 1/3L
Ref: BB30071P
Dark blood ink red. Small light pink head. Nose of huge candied cherries- very sweet, lightly tart. Earth, pie crust, nuts, also. Same flavors with some sharpness in the finish and a rich aftertaste. Full body, balanced carbonation. Surprisingly easy to drink for its richness. Great cherry beer.

Kasteel Triple 11°-1/3L
Ref: BB20294
This is a live beer, and since secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, there is a relatively high amount of carbonation. This is also a beer style that will cellar well (if stored at appropriate temperatures) and it will actually improve with age. The incredible fact about this beer is that it has a 15 year shelf life! (Forget those 'born on' dates!) This is a big beer -- 11% ABV is a big number -- but the alcohol is not so overwhelming. This beer is actually quite easy to drink. Dare I say it? It can even be guzzled. The nose has a honey-malt sweetness. The palate is malty, sweet, filled with butterscotch and complex hop flavors, mellowed by a nutty, vanilla edge.

St-Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition 5°-37,5cl
Ref: BB30023R
Appears a hazy light gold with a small white head that fades out into a tiny collar. Smell is of sour cherry touched with honey and wild yeast. Taste is of the same aromas that seems to be a nice mix of citrusy lemon rind. Mouthfeel is of sour chery, mouthpuckering wildness in a slick medium body. This beer rocks. It is a golden color with a very slight head. The aroma has some acetic, some oak, funk, & barnyard. The flavor is pretty sour when chillier but sweeter as it warms. Pretty sour though! It makes your mouth water. Comparable to Drie Fonteinen, Cantillon, Oud Beersel and even Girardin. I need more of this.
St-Louis Premium FARO 4°-1/4L
Ref: BB28134B
Clear orange golden color, medium white head. Aroma of sweet gueuzes, not oaky at all but you can just smell the sugar. Taste is extremely sweet of sugar with a bit tartness
St-Louis Premium KRIEK 3.2°-1/4L
Ref: BB28086Z
Premium Kriek is a beer made from traditional Gueuze Lambic, to which 25 per cent of fresh black cherry juice and natural sugar is added. A clear, dark red beer is obtained with a pink head. With an alcohol content of only 3.2 per cent and its fruity character, this is a beer which is a tempting tipple, when drunk young or old. The elegantly-shaped glass reinforces the image and symbolizes the natural charm of this full-bodied Kriek (a cherry beer).
St-Louis Premium Kriek 3,5° - 37,5 cl
Ref: BB28217P
The aroma is very sweet of cherries. The color is a clear blood red and it has a beutiful lasting pink head. The flavor is very sweet and dominated by cherries with slight sour notes in the background, that draws the saliva out. It contains no sharpness, so only the sourness reveals that it has been wild fermented. A very sweet kriek
St-Louis Premium Framboise 2,8° - 1/4L
Ref: BB28219
Dark cranberry color with a frothy, strawberry milkshake looking head. Smells of raspberries, black cherries, and sweet tarts. Very sweet taste of cranberry, blackberries, straw middle, finishes tart.
