Karmeliet Tripel 8°-1/3L
Ref: BB20706
Blond, robust, smooth, and fruity three grain top fermented beer, refermented in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after Karmeliet tradition with wheat, oat and barley. 100% natural.
Pours a sharp golden orange with strong effervescence and a beautiful fluffy white head. The lace is fine, smooth, yet sticks to the glass. The aroma is fruity, of bubble gum, hints of spices, fresh and full. The taste is smooth and sweet with a well-balanced dry finish. The MF is smooth and soft with a wonderful transition from sweet to dry. IMHO: A well balanced triple with no big surprises, and is subtly complex. Karmeliet has a great combination of flavors and smooth transitions.

Leffe bruin 6.5°-1/3L
Ref: BB20060
Leffe Brown is a full-bodied and rather fruity abbey beer. The flavour goes from a fruity sweetness to toffee or caramel with some roasted coffee notes, finishing with an oaky dryness. It should always be served in its stylish Leffe chalice-type glass.
A traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown colour and a full, sweet and fruity aroma.
An all-around great beer. Pours a dark, thick brown with a sizable tannish head. A malty aroma is balanced with a nice blend of spice (my comrade and I couldnt single out any specific kind), both of which are prevalent in the flavor, along with maple, tannin, and berry fruit. Thick-bodied, ideally for the colder months, but, as we found, it can also be enjoyed during the summer. Good stuff.

St Bernardus Abt 12°-1/3L
Ref: BB20006
This represents the top of the range in the Saint-Bernadus portfolio of beers and it has undoubtedly the highest alcohol content too ( 10.4%). It is also the beer that is closest in taste and distinctive characteristics to its Trappist beers. It has a good deal of character and is well rounded, which at the forefront an impression of smoothness which rapidly creates a rapport between its taste and your palate. Its strong volume of alcohol does not diminish its flavor, which truly remains amongst the best in this category.
This beer poured a dark amber color and formed an off white sudsy head that left circular lace. A good deal of carbonation was present. It had an aroma of malt, caramel and fruit. A flavor of malt, caramel and spicy fruit. A very strong flavor element and finish going on with this beer. A very impressive beer.

Rochefort 10 -1/3L
Ref: BB20858
The Trappist-Rochefort beers are top-fermented brown ales. They are brewed and racked within the walls of the Abbey of St-Remy in Rochefort. The modest size of the brewery means that the Trappist monks and their fellow workers can perfectly control the production process. The craft beer aspect is particularly appreciated by beer lovers. The Trappist-Rochefort 10 starts with a density of 24.50° Plato which produces a 11.3% vol. alcohol. A marvellous beer! But to be drunk in moderation! The Trappist-Rochefort beers are refermented in the bottle and their full flavour can best be enjoyed when they are served in their own specific glassware at a temperature between 12 and 14 degrees.

Dark brown almost black color, nice tan head. Sweet and delicious aroma of malt and milk chocolate. Heavy and full flavor. Malt, coffee and chocolate and a bitter hoppy finish. A really nice stout and better than the ordinary Guinness.
Aroma is coffee, roasted. Black color, light brown head, good lace. Sweet, licorice, roasted, full, hint of vanilla. Long lasting finish, bitter and coffee.

Lefebvre Hopus 8,5° - 1/3L
Ref: BB30119Z
Flip top bottle poured a nice fluffy white head with a golden color. There is a pear taste present followed by a bitter dry aftertaste. Not as hoppy as you would expect for a beer with this name, but very good regardless. Most Belgium beers that claim to be hoppy fall short for USA standards but there is definately a nice hop presence. The overwhelming carbonation added a bit of dryness as well.

Leffe Blond has a balanced, gently aromatic flavour. The sweetness is full bodied yet delicate. The palate has restrained fruity hints and a nutty creamy texture. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry. It should always be served in its stylish Leffe chalice-type glass.
Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a "connoisseur" beer that is easy to drink.
Had this one from tap. Light citrus and malts aroma. Golden colour with large bubbles. Vanilla and summer fruits aroma. Bit sweet, bit spicy. Nice bitterness in the finish

Grimbergen bruin 6.5°-1/3L
Ref: BB20582
Brewed by Alken-Maes for the Grimbergen abbey, this is a double dark beer, whose appearance and taste are a close approximation of an English brown ale. Rich ruby-brown colour, with an aroma comprising equal proportions of hops and something like fermenting marrow. It is sweet, lively on the tongue and easier to drink than its strength would suggest (which is considerably in excess of your average brown ale). The aftertaste is a lingering, mild malty flavour.
Clear dark ruby, almost a burgundy appearance, with a large-bubbled sandy head which subsides into a frothy layer with a few bubbles peaking through. Nose has some gingerbread spiced cherries, nice roasted strawberries and cherries in the flavor as well, with a big emphasis on apple cider. Peppy finish, finishes like apple juice.

Kasteel Bruin 11°-1/3L
Ref: BB20297
A very strong and rich beer from the same brewery that produces Brigand. A deep dark ale, with very malty aroma and a sweetish palate. Definitely an after dinner drink!
Pours with a lovely cola colored brown with a mocha colored thick head and excellent lacing - going to have a tough time cleaning the glass tomorrow morning! Aroma has some sweet accents of baked brown bread, raisins and sugar. Flavor has many of the same notes with some cinamony-chocolate making a late appearance. Candy sugar flavor is prominent and makes this very enticing and hides the ABV of 11% oh so well. Good, thick mouthfeel, low carbonation - feels just right. All around an excellent Belgian.

Malmedy Blond 7°c - 33cl
Ref: BB24029
This beer is a good example of a very well balanced beer. Big solid head. Nice fruity aroma, looks beautifully deep yellow-ish golden, Flavour is very nice for a blonde, there is a sweetnes yet bitter nor too much in either, The palate showes how well this beer is brewed, it is superbly balanced.
Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. A somewhat subtle winner: appetizingly bright aroma, great balance in the flavor profile, nice mouthfeel, and visually attractive. Very quaffable but interesting enough to sip as well.
