Pours light, rusty brown with a light pink head. Brett aromas predominate: horsey, leather, humus, with hints of cherry. Flavor complexity is immediately obvious with layers of funk, sorghum, cherries, and hints of wood. Medium body but very round on the tongue. A great beer but lambic fans should note: do not expect anything like Lindeman’s. This is closer to an Oud Bruin with the addition of cherries. Really an impressive brew.

This charming lambic is perfect supping after dinner with chocolates. Good balance between sweet and sour and yeasty enough to counteract any sticky cherry flavour. Lightly sparkly. Serve chilled
