Gouyasse 6° - 33cl Ref: BB28061Z Gouyasse is a artisanal blond beer, not filtered, not pasteurized and brewed in the respect of the tradition. It is refermented in bottle what gives him its semi-sparkling naturalness. Refreshing and containing 6% vol.alc., it is only manufactured starting from natural products: malt, hop, water and yeast. Goliath (6% alcohol vol.) is a pure barley malt beer with no added spices and sugar. It is a high fermentation beer and is fermented a second time in the bootle to give it a natural sparkling taste. This light ale has a peachy colour with a fine, huge and creamy head. Its aroma is fruity (citrus) with a slight flavour of hops. Goliath is a slightly bitter and mellow beer, perfect balance of flavours. Its secret … the brewing according to traditionnal method, the character of the house yeast , the use of only prime and natural products. Goliath ? What’s the meaning ? Ath (Belgium), city of the giants, is a calm region full of tradition and folklore. Goliath means Gouyasse in patois from the « David and Goliath » legend and is one of the famous giants from Ath. Gouyasse Triple 1/3L Ref: BB28231Z Goliath is 9% alcohol by volume, a little more red in the face than your average tripel (almost an amber, really), nicely balanced with a bracing hop note versus a solid malt wallop. Goliath is the only Tripel in Belgium that is all-malt without any sugar or other additives in. (Everyone else uses some sugar to ‘thin out’ their Tripels, which gives them alcohol, without the body that you normally get from malt.) That means Goliath starts out a bit sweeter than some, but over time, as the live yeast in the bottle do their work, it gets drier and more punchy. The first batch, after about half a year in the bottle, is about where we want it, but it will probably become a greater beer as time goes by. Saison Voisin 5° - 33cl Ref: BB28062Z Brewed according to the original receipt and according to the councils of Mr. Close Leon, reprocessed brewer, this beer is amber and contains 5% vol. alc. Refreshing, with a light bitter and fruity key, the Season Neighbor results from a high fermentation. It is not filtered, not pasteurized and is also refermented in bottle. Saison Voisin (5% alcohol vol.) is a pure barley malt beer with no added spices and sugar. It is a high fermentation beer and is fermented a second time in the bootle to give it a natural sparkling taste. This light ale is amber-coloured, result of the use of small amounts of caramel barley malt for its production. It has a fine, huge and creamy head. Saison Voisin is characterised by marked bitterness with citric note. Refreshing and digestive, it is ideally served between 3° and 6°. « Saison beers » are brewed almost exclusively at Hainaut (Belgium) since the beginning of the 20th century. Related products: 1. Urchon 7° - 75cl Ref: BB28063Z Beautiful brown color, deep yet brite. Nice thin head that leaves a thin belgian lace to the finish. The aroma is faint yet reflects roasted malts and rich caramel notes. The flavor is pronunced and rich however, not overwhelming. Light bodied, just the right amount of bitterness, for a clean refreshing very drinkable brown ale. A nice dark brown coloured brew. Malty and fruity with some interesting spicy notes.
