Malheur 10° - 33cl
Ref: BB28038D
Re-fermented and bottle-conditioned Full bodied, medium strong, gold coloured beer, with a rich honey-like texture, and a pleasant warming, slightly hoppy-dry lingering aftertaste.
Hazy orange due to the massive hop usage. Extremely creamy head. Aroma of perfumey hops, rust, honey, alcohol, and caramelized sugar. This is absolutely bursting with complex flavors: particularly sweet honeyed malts. Do not forget about the full flavored hops that lend am unsurpased dry aspect. Overall one of the most underrated beers on the site. An exquisite example of a hybrid Triple/Belgian hop elixir.

Malheur Brut Reserve 75 cl
Ref: PB28004
Malheur Bière Brut is an exclusive and rich beer with an alc. vol. of 11%. After bottling it is re-fermented a third time in the bottle. We have succeeded in collecting the yeast in the bottleneck, where it is frozen and removed with the "dégorgement".
A rare example of a refined and bubbling beer with a strong head and an elegant aftertaste.
To quote beer guru Michael Jackson it is a new "World Classic"; suitable as an aperitif, dessert or digestive: strong but silky-smooth, with a powerful, dry aftertaste, very aromatic, velvety peach and rose, apricot, vanilla, orange, lemon rind, strongly bound and quietly controlled.

It is expected that this beer is brewed only in 2005
Clear golden colored, foamy snow white head. Fresh in the aroma with yeasty, flowery and hoppy tones. Hops and yeast flavor with a herby edge and plenty of flower.

Malheur DARK Brut 12° - 3/4L
Ref: BB28194P
Called "Black Chocolate" in the U.S.
Malheur DARK Brut Reserve, in a 75cl bottle with champagne cork and wire cage ( muselet) has an alcohol content of 12 vol. % a dark brown creamy foam.
The "Bouquet" is extremely complex" ! Sherry, Madeira, vanilla, wood .... Hopjes from the Hague with a coffee flavor as a result of the roasted malt.
It's taste is oak dry, so this is a genuine Brut. The beer has been decanted in young American oak that was especially burned for this beer. Its bitterness is nicely balanced with the tannin of the wood and just a sweet zest from the alcohol. It has an unusually cork dry aftertaste.
The beer is bottle according to the so-called "original method". The yeast is removed from the bottle by shaking and disgorging.
