Boeteling 6.6° - 1/3L
Ref: BB30111R
Beer with a nice orange color and with an airy ivory colored head. The aroma is light malty with faint touches of butter caramel, dried apricots, some candi sugar and some sweet spices. Also a faint hoppyness in the nose. Taste is slight drier than expected. It has a good carbonation and a nice lively mouthfeel. On the pallet there are hints is peach-pit, some nut-skin, malts, white bread and corn flowers. The afthertaste turns dry and ends with a flowery and slight hoppy finish.

Ezel White 5.8° - 1/4L

In Flanders, "Ezel" {donkey} is a nickname given to specific people or even entire village communities. However, as the people of this area, the word "Ezel" symbolizes not so much stupidity, but patient and dogged perseverance, a perseverance that is quite conscious of its own quality. The same applies to this ale: brewed from raw materials of the highest quality, it has a mellow taste that shows a real personality.
Orange aroma. Sweet, malty, orange and honey flavor. More than moderate full. Moderate long finish, little bitterness.

'Tripel' with refermentation in the bottle, brewed with love by the brewmasters at Bavikhove cum licentia Dioccesis Brugensis;
This belgian ale pours with a yellow body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet but mostly bitter and grassy wtih a slightly spicy woody note. The flavor is similar with more spicy notes and more woody notes. Medium bodied and smooth but mostly dry.

Dark amber, clear; preposterously huge yellow-brown head, going down lacey. Vanilla, bit of chocolate malts, later more herbal, nearly piney. Dark malts prevail in the taste, but the beer is neutral rather than sweet-bitter; neither is it ale-like, like the Winterbier, despite the shared ABV. Slightly chocolatey, slightly spicey, slightly tobacco. Rather empty mouthfeel. Aftertaste is a late bittering onset, slightly hoppy in character.

Wittekerke White Can 33Cl
Ref: BB24015
Lemon juice yellow, small compact white head. Aroma of lemon and wheat with a nice mellon-like underlay and some candied sugar. Taste is quite nice, refreshing, solid flavors, quite fruity with a nice lemon drop candy taste. Crisp, light, close to medium feel, kinda fluffy. A very nice drinker, a pleasant surprise for a starter at the Muddy Pig for dinner this evening. Good stuff.
