Affligem bruin 7°-1/3L
Ref: BB20114

Beer pours gorgeous mahogeny with a nice thick tan colored head that mostly dissipates. Aroma is rich with malt and dark dried fruits, i.e. figs and raisins, also light yeastiness and spices. Flavor yield a bit less than the promise of the aroma. Flavors of sweet malt, light yeast, and light spices are present. The finish is dry. This was quite enjoyable.

Affligem Patersvat 7° - 33 cl
Ref: BB28049D

The beer pours a translucent golden amber color, the head purposeful in size, the color off white and the residual lace a fine cover upon the glass. Mostly malt in the nose, lightly astringent, crisp and clean with the start slightly sweet, lots of malt, the top skinny in feel. Finish is biting in its acidity, the hops perky in their spicy bite, dry lingering aftertaste

Affligem Triple 8.5°-1/3L

Affligem Triple 8.5°-1/3L
Ref: BB20108

Bright golden color but this is otherwise an ordinary looking Belgian. Catty, fruit and hay aromas. Effervescent and woody, spicy and tart without crispness finishing in a sour snap laced with a mineral taste. This one lays down some varied and complimentary flavors. Complex and dry enough to drink through.

Op-Ale Speciale 5° - 1/4L

Malt and raisin aroma, also some notes like strong black tea from the hops. Dark amber, lace clings to tha glas. Incredibly complex hop taste: A background bitternes like from bitter tea , accompagnied by a range of aromahops which fill the whole spectrum. Medium body, a tad watery exit, but all in all a really lovely beer.

Dark Belgian Abbey-Ale refermented in bottle.
Brewed by De Smedt brewery
Beautiful ruby brown color, large beige head, fair lace. Nose is sweet, malt, butter scotch and quite appealing. Sweet front, the top is medium, the carbonation moderate, and slightly acidic, nice hop presence at the fairly dry finish. Nice beer, and well worth the effort to find and sample.

Hazy golden color, huge head, rocky; impressive, chaotic perlage. Besides the obvious aroma for a Tripel, this wonderful beer has a very nice hop note. A very good body, with good malt, and maybe a too high residual sweetness (would prefer if hoppier at the end). A very good one!.
